Andy got his start in the hospitality industry over 20 years ago when he signed on to help his brother run a small family-operated hotel in Malvern, Arkansas. After just two years, he found his calling and branched out to buy his first hotel. As the President and Chairman of SPAN he now manages over 12 award winning hotel properties in Arkansas.
Andy is also passionate about his community. He is an active member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), Little Rock Air Force Base Community Council and the Rotary Club of Jacksonville. Originally from India, he has lived in Arkansas for over 20 years with his lovely wife Sima and his two amazing children, Om and Nisha.
Andrew has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. As the Chief Engineer, he oversees the maintenance departments and property upkeep. As the Director of Construction and Renovation, he also manages the company’s new construction and renovation efforts. He enjoys being on the road and looking after the technical side of the business.
Danny oversees the acquisition, development, and funding of new SPAN projects. He is a recipient of numerous awards including the 2015 Young Business Leader of the Year award presented by the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce. He serves as the Regional Director of Arkansas Region for Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and is passionate about finding the best real estate opportunites for SPAN's investors.
Jitendra began his sucessful career in 2000 in corporate world of Mumbai India and then achieved tremendous growth in the Canadian Diagnostics field starting in 2006. in 2017, Jitendra finally decided to move close to his family in Little Rock, AR. Jitendra oversees operations with Sima Vallabh along with procurement and vendor relationships at SPAN. With over 20 years' experience in the corporate world, Jitendra is a results-oriented leader who focuses on developing business processes and team members' skills to improve productivity and efficiency. He is passionate about developing teams that deliver excellence and strongly believes in using technology to it's fullest potential.
Sima has a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a strong background in hotel management. Sima oversees human resources, brand compliances and every aspects of day to day operations along with Jitendra at SPAN. Sima’s strong leadership and presence has driven the exponential growth of the family business to what is now SPAN Hospitality Management.
Cookie began her career in hospitality in Texas in 1988. She now oversees the sales and marketing efforts at SPAN. She is an active member of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA). Cookie actively represents SPANs leadership at conferences and symposium. She is passionate about relationship building and finding new sales opportunities for the business.
Tarun Kapoor is the CEO & Managing Director of Kapoor & Kapoor Hospitality a full-service hospitality consulting and investment firm representing a wide range of local, national and international clients in the lodging, private club, and restaurant industries.
